Damon’s new slave was perfect a robust frame, sun kissed skin, hair as black as night, eyes as green as the sea before a storm. Bloodied and beaten, just the way he liked them. His heart swelled when he saw rebellion and hate in the slave's eyes.
This was not another sheep. He gazed at the nearly naked man lying at his feet, blood drying thick on his face. How Damon wanted to lick it off. He wanted to tear off the man’s loincloth; it was an affront, and it covered what might be the man’s best feature. If that were possible with his obvious perfection.
“Well,” Damon said, anticipating the conflict to come, “you’re mine now.” His eyes did not show his excitement, his anticipation, but were as hard and expressionless as a statue.
The slave said nothing, but his beautiful, full lips were curled in rage. Damon crouched down over his prone captive and gripped his thick hair tightly, pulling and twisting it until he swore in pain and fury.
“When I speak to you, you answer,” Damon said, yanking the man’s hair for emphasis. “And when you address me, you call me master.”
“Fuck you,” Anaxander replied.

I completely enjoyed this book. You could read them as a stand alone but I would recommend reading the book in order to really enjoy it. The time period in Sparta was fascinating and well written. The sex scenes extremely well written and very intense. Definitely worth rereading over and over.Product details

One of most cruel book I have read and I feel in love the men for despite the cruelty, there was a form of love between them. Punishment never seemed so good
